Abstract [en]
The proceedings contain 21 papers. The topics discussed include: a MAC protocol for cognitive radio wireless ad hoc networks; design of a robust cognitive control channel for cognitive radio networks based on ultra wideband pulse shaped signal; an urn occupancy approach for cognitive radio networks in DTVB white spaces; collision-free operation in wireless ad-hoc networks; throughput-optimal distributed probabilistic medium-access in MPR-capable networks; on Gaussian multiple access channels with interference: achievable rates and upper bounds; low complexity time domain equalization for cyclic prefix multicode CDMA; transmission power control in single-hop and multi-hop wireless sensor networks; an integrated wireless communication architecture for maritime sector; and a two-priority queuing system with trunk reservation, infinite capacity buffers for customers of both priorities, and different service intensities for high-priority and non-priority customers.
