Idén till projektet föddes då projektgruppen själva upplevde ett problem med att kläder ofta ligger och stökar i hemmet. När vi undersökte detta närmre upptäckte vi att kläder idag tvättas allt för ofta. Folk är osäkra på om kläderna är tillräckligt fräscha för att användas flera gånger. Det finns inte heller någon bra plats att förvara de använda kläderna på och de samlas på hög. Till slut hamnar allt i tvätten, oavsett om det är smutsigt eller inte. En marknadsundersökning innefattande 435 svarande personer bekräftar detta problem samt styrker behovet av en ny produkt.

För att lösa problemet har projektgruppen utvecklat en produkt som döljer, förvarar och samtidigt fräschar upp kläder. Produkten heter wAirdrobe och den tar bort lukt och ger kläderna en fräsch känsla. Genom att använda produkten behöver kläder inte tvättas lika ofta, vilket gör att de håller längre. Färre tvättar betyder också sparad energi och mindre utsläpp av kemikalier.

wAirdrobe har utvecklats för att vara så användarvänlig som möjligt och dess design gör att den passar in i ett hem med begränsat utrymme. Detta för att produkten ska passa till personer som bor trångt och har begränsade tvättmöjligheter. Vi är däremot stolta över att presentera wAirdrobe som en produkt som kan förenkla vardagen för alla. 

The project group discovered the idea for the project through the realization that clothes are often creating a mess in homes. When this was examined more closely we discovered that clothes are washed too often these days. People are unsure about whether or not clothes are fresh enough to wear more than once. There is no place to store the worn clothes and instead they are piled up somewhere. In the end it all goes in the washer, clean or not. A survey consisting of 435 respondents confirms that this is a problem and strengthens the need for a new product.

To solve this problem the project group has developed a product that stores and hides worn clothes, while at the same time refreshing them. The product is called wAirdrobe and it eliminates odors and gives the clothes a fresh feeling. Using this product will reduce the need for washing the clothes, which means they will last longer. Fewer washing cycles also results in saved energy and less pollution from chemicals.

wAirdrobe is user friendly and its design enables it to fit in homes with limited space. This is so that the product will fit people with small living spaces and limited washing possibilities. However, we are proud to present wAirdrobe as a product that can simplify the every-day life of anyone.
