Mechweed is a research project of HiH and the main goal is to reduce the usage of chemical weedcontroll. This is accomplished by using a mechanical robot with digital image processing to navigate and separate the weed from the crop. This robot already exists and it’s using a PC104 system for computing power. Our project consists of hardware design and implementation of drivers and GUI for an brand new embedded guide system. This journey from datasheet and specification to a working product has been very interesting and giving.
