The theory chapter focuses on theories about the power of media and medialization. The instrument of analysis is built on theory of media drama, frame theory and commercial theories. The result of the essay shows that the use of media drama techniques has increased from the advertisments of the campaign of 1979 to the avdertisments of the campaign of 1998. This is a sign of role of the information society for the contolled political communication. But many of the techniques were used already in 1979. What distingished the campaign of 1998 is that the media drama techniques have developed, and are used to greated extent. And there are tendencies in campaign of 1998, which dont exist in the campaign of 1979. The campaign advertisment follow a certain theme. They also include a kind of individuality. These two new techniques could be intergrated in the theory about media drama. In the conclusion the role of medialization for democrazy is disussed.
