Abstract [en]

This report is the total report of the project Foundry Lanka, including the implementation work executed by the project members at the company in June-August 1990. The company concerned is Premier Engineers Ltd, Colombo, Sri Lanka. The company´s foundry division has an inferior quality as regards their cast products in grey cast iron and non-ferrous alloys. This is due to insufficient access of foundry equipment and work planning. Objective for project Foundry Lanka is to improve the quality of cast products in grey cast iron and the industrial engineering for this process.
