Abstract [sv]
Abstract [en]
This study investigates how digital nudges can be designed in e-commerce to promote conscious consumption choices. With increasing digitalization, clothing consumption has grown, while challenges related to sustainability in the fashion industry have become more prominent. The study uses a design-oriented approach combining a literature review, prototype development and evaluation. By identifying and implementing eight design proposals based on four types of digital nudges: information, recommendation, feedback and time-based nudges, the study evaluated how these can encourage conscious consumption choices. The results show that digital nudges can enable conscious consumption choices.
