Abstract [en]

This study examines how employees in the public sector experience the use of digital collaboration tools in relation to transparency and information security. Through a literature review and semi-structured interviews, the study analyzes how digital collaboration tools affect work processes and communication between different authorities. The results show that digital collaboration tools have contributed to increased transparency by making information more easily accessible, while improving and streamlining cooperation between several authorities. The study contributes to a deeper understanding of employees' experiences in the public sector and highlights the need for more structured security practices and increased awareness, which are two factors that can help achieve a balance between transparency and security.
