Abstract [en]

To support sustainable engineering practices and iterative product development, reusable and flexible test setups are essential. This project addresses that need by creating a modular and adaptable platform that supports various display sizes and circuit board configurations, while promoting efficient hardware-software integration testing. The development process utilized a Design Structure Matrix (DSM) to manage and optimize workflow. The final platform features a modular frame, integrated power, and communication interfaces, and a service display for real-time diagnostics. The project fulfilled all functional and non-functional requirements and demonstrated robustness under simulated transport conditions. The resulting platform supports sustainable development practices through reusable components, and provides a scalable foundation for future product iterations.

För att stödja hållbar ingenjörspraxis och iterativ produktutveckling är återanvändbara och flexibla testuppsättningar avgörande. Detta projekt möter det behovet genom att skapa en modulär och anpassningsbar plattform som stödjer olika displaystorlekar och kretskortskonfigurationer, samtidigt som den främjar effektiv testning av hårdvaru- och mjukvaruintegration. Utvecklingsprocessen använde en Design Structure Matrix (DSM) för att hantera och optimera arbetsflödet. Den färdiga plattformen inkluderar ett modulärt ramverk, integrerade ström- och kommunikationsgränssnitt samt en serviceskärm för diagnostik i realtid. Projektet uppfyllde samtliga funktionella och icke-funktionella krav och visade god hållbarhet vid simulerade transportförhållanden. Den slutgiltiga stödjer hållbar utveckling genom återanvändbara komponenter och erbjuder en skalbar grund för framtida iterationer.
