Abstract [en]
This master’s thesis examines how digital health technologies and sustainable lifestyle practices are integrated into Sweden’s welfare system, using a qualitative approach grounded in eight semi-structured interviews with professionals from various sectors. The study reveals widespread engagement with digital wellness platforms and a strong cultural alignment between health and sustainability. However, the integration is uneven due to structural barriers, limited training, and digital exclusion. Respondents expressed a clear desire for a more inclusive and interoperable system that enhances preventive care through digital innovation. This research contributes to the understanding of how Sweden can leverage its digital infrastructure and welfare principles to build a more holistic and inclusive model for preventive health.
