Följande studie bygger på antagandet att risksamhället har en inverkan på villkoren för barns riskfyllda lek samt att detta genererar en utmaning för förskolors pedagoger. Utifrån dessa antaganden har ett fokussamtal genomförts. Syftet med studien är att genom fokussamtalet med pedagoger från en storavdelning synliggöra den kollektiva förståelsen av inverkan samt hur pedagogerna förhåller sig till utmaningen. I bearbetningen av resultatet används Becks teori om risksamhället och barndomssociologi. Resultatet visar att risksamhället har en inverkan på villkoren för barns riskfyllda lek, genom åtgärder i den fysiska miljön, bestämmelser som påverkar vilka fysiska miljöer pedagogerna kan erbjuda barnen samt ovillighet att ändra på den miljö pedagogerna anser farlig. Resultatet visar att inverkan på pedagogernas förhållningssätt enligt pedagogerna är att risksamhället erbjuder ett tillfälle för utveckling då inverkan leder till reflektioner och diskussioner som stärker dem i deras roll. Studiens resultat visar att risksamhällets inverkan på villkoren för barns riskfyllda lek i förskolan kan ha olika betydelse, beroende på hur pedagoger förhåller sig till utmaningen.

The following study is based on the assumption that Risk society has an impact on the conditions for children's risky play and that this generates a challenge for preschool educators. Based on these assumptions, a focus group was conducted. The aim of the study is to make visible, through the focus conversation with educators from a large department, the collective understanding of the impact and how educators cope with the challenge. In processing the findings, the study draws on Beck's theory of the risk society and childhood sociology. The results show that Risk society has an impact on the conditions for children's risky play. Through measures in the physical environment, regulations that affect the physical environments educators can provide for children, and reluctance to change the environment educators consider dangerous. The results show that, according to the educators, the impact on their attitudes offers an opportunity for development as it leads to reflections and discussions that strengthen them in their role. The results of the study show that the impact of Risk society on the conditions for children's risky play in preschools can have different implications depending on how educators approach the challenge.
