Abstract [sv]

I denna studie utfördes tio semistrukturerade intervjuer.

Abstract [en]

Person-centered care is a treatment model that can deliver higher quality and safety. However, there is limited research on how the treatment model can be integrated into currenthealthcare. We therefore wanted to investigate how natural language processing can beimplemented in healthcare to enable a practical application of person-centered care. In thisstudy, ten semi-structured interviews were conducted. The respondents who participated weredoctors, nurses, assistant nurses, User Experience designers and Artificial Intelligenceresearchers. The result of the study was that person-centered care makes care work morecomplex and time-consuming. Natural language processing can assist healthcareprofessionals in collecting and compiling patient information. This gives healthcare staffbetter conditions for working with the tasks that come with person-centered care.
