Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

The ongoing digitization phase in the world affects several small businesses through the gradual forthcoming of new requirements and needs for digitized solutions. Thus, it is important for small businesses to constantly work to digitize operations to meet the requirements that emerge from customers and markets. As a result, the decision to implement ERP-systems, as part of the digitization work, is an important step for small businesses. Implementation of ERP-systems can thus support small businesses in various ways. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the implementation of ERP-systems can support small businesses business models. To answer the question, we chose to conduct qualitative interviews with three small businesses that worked with the production and / or sale of goods to identify challenges found in business models. The results of the study were analyzed according to the value concepts for business models that include value proposition, revenue models, customer relationships, organization and key resources.
