Abstract [sv]

This paper is for a bachelor degree project in computer systems engineering at Halmstad University. The purpose of the project is to develop a program for analysis and editing of flight tracks. The program is to be used by Sveriges Lantbruksuniversitet, Alnarp, as aid in their development of synthetic pheromones. The main function of the program is to open flight tracks for editing and analysis. The tracks are edited to remove minor errors that may occur during recording. After the editing process the program is used for calculating different kinds of statistics for the flight track. The statistics can then be used to determine the effectiveness of the pheromone. The programming language used for development is Java. This makes it possible to use the program on both PC and Macintosh. The graphic user interface is designed to be user friendly so inexperienced users will have as little difficulties as possible.
