2002 (engelsk)Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor)Oppgave
Abstract [en]
The young woman Matilda, who lives under strict, patriarchal oppression, refuses to continue her life in a state of complete powerlessness and unhappiness. Thus, although her situation seems rather hopeless, she begins to make active use of all the different means within her reach in order to try to defy the patriarchal oppression under which she lives. In this manner, Matilda performs many important acts of female agency.
