Abstract [sv]

This is a joint veture between Stora Hylte AB and the University of Halmstad. The purpose of the project is to make energy savings for the paper mill in Hylte, by reducing the amount of steam used in the process of making paper. The steam passes through steel rolls in teh drying process, heating them up. The paper making pulp contains some defilement that sticks to the steel rolls. This is a big problem becouse the defilment produces a layer that isolates the paper from the hot steel rolls. Our project presents and evaluates some solutions to this problem.
