Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om ett speciellt protein, TBX3 kan användas som en biologisk markör, samt om det dessutom kan användas för att identifiera nya molekyler som kan fungera som mål i ny läkemedelsbehandling för att dämpa inflammationsprocessen i ledgångsreumatism.
Abstract [en]
The purpose of this project is to investigate how TBX3 is involved in disease pathways leading to immune activation and tissue specific cell damage in chronic inflammation, particularly, in rheumatoid arthritis.
