    The following report is for CAD-technicians 2nd year.

     

    The task that the report is built on is done in collaboration with Hafa AB. The task is to develop a new steam nozzle for steamers, a sort of combination of steam sauna and a shower. The reasoning behind the development is to make the steam nozzle match with Hafa’s current design and to gain as little wasted water as possible.

     

    There came forth a mutual idea to integrate the steam nozzle into the shower column, during a meeting with Hafa, which we developed further and became the first prototype.

     

    The prototype showed to be a success, even though protection for the steam had to be made since it flowed into the steamer at a rate which was not acceptable, mainly because little water was wasted and because the prototype was just a third of the original steam nozzle’s size.

     

    The method that we used was the same that was used by us during earlier courses in the CAD-technicians programme.

    Abstract

    Our bachelor degree thesis was carried out in collaboration with Ivar Petterssons Järnmanufaktur AB in Smålandsstenar. We were asked to replace their wedge housing, used to fasten the wires to the power lines, with a similar structure in a plastic material. The idea for this project started with Ivar Petterssons Järnmanufaktur AB having problems with the casting quality that forced them to perform expensive tests on each of the wedge houses to ensure the quality. They are currently produced in China which is also a major drawback because it requires expensive long delivery times.

    The method we used is Fredy Olsson's Princip- and Primärkonstuktion (1995). We have consistently been in the project on so-called "broad front", which means that you create several sketches, ideas and changes in parallel, and then evaluates all. With this method we were able to largely concentrate on the current part of the project, rather than using the more time-consuming "trail and error" method, which is basically doing one idea at a time, and evaluate them one by one.

    At first we were very optimistic and thought we would be able to order form for the injection moulding process, but as the project progressed we found we were not certain that the product would hold and we were forced to present the solution as a concept that will require testing before it’s finished, and not a finished solution.The results we presented for Ivar Pettersssons Järnmanufaktur is a complete drawing on our primary solution, including the release angles. This is because when they decide to go forth with the project, it will be possible to produce a tool without having to make changes to the drawings. Temporary financial calculation shows that the savings may be realized around 1 300 000 SEK by switching to a plastic construction. However we have not been able to verify hours and therefore no cost estimates for the testing done in Sweden, so the actual amount of money saved is larger.

    Då hantverkare jobbar ensamma behövs ofta en extra arm. Dagens enhandstvingar är inte optimala att hantera med endast en hand. I detta projekt har därför ett underlag för en ny typ av enhandstving arbetats fram. Arbetet avgränsades till princip- och primärkonstruktion.Resultatet är en tving som i mycket liknar tvingarna på marknaden idag. Skillnaden är att de båda käftarna dras ihop med hjälp av gummiband innan den slutliga förspänningen sker. För att åstadkomma detta var mekanismen i tvingen tvungen att göras om, samt att designen på tvingen var tvungen att anpassas till de nya komponenterna. Ingen prototyp har byggts, istället har en mycket detaljerad 3d-modell av tvingen arbetats fram.

    Detta examensarbete är en fortsatt utveckling av ett tidigare arbete som jag själv tagit fram i kursen ”Datorstödd Konstruktion och Prototypframtagning 22,5hp”. Tanken är att jag tillsammans med företaget Ugglarps Mekaniska m.fl. ska försöka ta fram en färdig modell och prototyp på en kameravagn som har till uppgift att underlätta möjligheten att göra jämna och följsamma filmningar i olika sorters miljöer. Examensarbetet som jag genomför omfattar endast 7,5hp till skillnad ifrån de vanligaste förekommande examensarbetena som är på 15hp. Med tanke på detta så har omfattningen för undersökningar, analyser, och tillverkning av kameravagnen blivit en aning begränsad.

    Mycket av mitt examensarbete bygger framförallt på mitt tidigare arbete när det gäller brainstorming, marknadsundersökning, konceptlösningar, konstruering, kriterieframtagning, komponentval m.m.

    Det som jag under detta arbete har färdigställt är bl.a. tillverkningsmetod för samtliga komponenter, samt tillverkning på huvuddelen av dessa komponenter.

    Resultatet av den vagn som jag tagit fram är mycket tillfredställande med avseende på de kriterier som jag tagit fram, samt förväntningarna ifrån branschen. Det har varit ett nöje att genomföra detta arbete och förhoppningarna är stora när det gäller marknadsföring av den framtagna konstruktionen.

    Denna rapport följer framtagningen av två förslag till en applikator av polerpasta, som tagits fram tillsammans med företaget Oerlikon Balzers. Arbetet har följt de metoder som Fredy Olsson förespråkar i sin rapport, ”Princip-/ och primärkonstruktion”.

    Produkten ska ha som uppgift att automatisera och ersätta det manuella arbetet med att applicera polermedel i samband med slipningen av borr. Enligt vald metod togs först ett flertal idéer till lösningar på problemet fram genom brainstorming. Efter det genomfördes en sållning av förslagen där de vägdes och utvärderades mot de krav som fanns.

    Två förslag valdes ut för att arbeta vidare med. Vidare påbörjades detaljkonstruktionen av de ingående detaljerna. I nästa steg togs CAD modeller fram av dessa. De två kom att bli de slutgiltiga lösningarna; den ena idéen har två separata delar, en för varje funktion, den andra har både dosering och frammatning i samma del. Det ena förslaget är av en mer tillförlitlig och standardiserad konstruktion, medan den andra är av en mer experimentell art då den inte testats innan.

    Arbetet ska fungera som underlag för vidare utveckling samt tillverkning för företaget.

    When thinking of the security of the home or building, the one can never be carelessor neglect the need of the door locks. Crimes is in their high level in all over theworld, leaving many people with un secure feelings, this means having such a gooddoors locks give the peace of mind and provide the one the protection against theburglars.

    There are many types of door locks techniques one of them is the Dead bolt typewhich give the maximum safety level among the locks. The one inch type deadboltlock can make the burglars way from kicking and force themselves in the ones home. There are many different benefits of having high quality security door locks. You don’t want to scrimp here! In fact, you will want to get the best security door lockspossible in order to ensure the best in your home security.

    All the locks have their strong and weak points, so the client that we have collaboratewith have some ideas about the good lock .We tried find a new practical concept tothe new lock case depending on the ASSA 8765 lock.

    By using model given by Ullman [Ullman, 1992] as a methodology and with the helpof Solid works as CAD system a model have been designed and FEM calculationshave been carried out.

    The results were not sure quite enough because of many reasons such as lack of time,but the report absolutely will be a good base for the future work.

    Abstract [en]

    Fault diagnosis technology plays an important role in the industries due to the emergency fault of a machine could bring the heavy lost for the people and the company. A fault diagnosis model based on multi-manifold learning and particle swarm optimization support vector machine(PSO-SVM) is studied. This fault diagnosis model is used for a rolling bearing experimental of three kinds faults. The results are verified that this model based on multi-manifold learning and PSO-SVM is good at the fault sensitive features acquisition with effective accuracy.
