    Free2Move AB is developing products for the market within wireless communication

    and identification, among those active RFID-tags. The company had an idea about

    providing one of their active RFID tags with a GPS receiver and transmit positions via

    an existing RFID protocol. Desire from the company was also the possibility to log

    positions and measure temperature. The finished prototype should also be able to be

    activated by movement. The company had proposal about components that were to be

    used in the project. A large part of the work was to understand how these worked and

    how to combine them to fulfill the requirements established in agreement with

    supervisor at Free2Move. A PIC microcontroller was used in the design of the prototype

    and software implemented for communication with GPS, RFID tag and other

    components. The result was a working prototype where an existing RFID tag was

    integrated in the same printed circuit board layout as the GPS receiver and other

    components that were used in the project.

    Abstract [sv]

    Inom bankbranschen har IT blivit ett betydelsefullt verktyg för att uppnå en ökad kvalitet på service och tjänster. För att företag ska kunna skapa en konkurrensfördel gentemot andra företag inom samma bransch, krävs det en förståelse för vilka problem som finns idag och som leder till försämrad användbarhet. Syftet med denna studie är att identifiera de brister som är väsentliga ur ett användbarhetsperspektiv för en Internetbank, samt identifiera enskilda funktioner som fungerar sämre ur en användbarhetssynpunkt. Med hjälp av teoretiska ramar har vi genomfört en kvantitativ enkätundersökning på Swedbanks Telefon- och Internetbank. Resultaten av denna enkätundersökning har pekat på de brister som användarna upplever på Internetbanken. Dessa brister är bland annat relaterade till gränssnittet, brist på god dialog, svårigheter med att lära in och memorera funktioner, brist på tydlig feedback till användarna, samt navigeringen. Vidare identifierade vi med hjälp av respondenterna enskilda funktioner som upplevs som problematiska i vissa avseenden. Det handlar bland annat om funktioner som att köpa, sälja och byta fonder, kapitalförsäkringar, överföringar/betalningar, stående överföringar, pensions¬sparande samt historik.

    Vår slutsats är Swedbank har de resurser som krävs för att utveckla en väl fungerande Internetbank. Vi anser att företaget lyckats skapa en Internetbank med generellt sett hög användbarhet. Därmed är de brister som vi identifierat inte alltför kritiska, men dock förekommande. Vi tycker dock inte att småfel bör ignoreras, utan ansvariga bör vidta åtgärder för att kontinuerligt förbättra Internetbanken och dess befintliga funktioner.

    Abstract [en]

    A protocol and a communication mechanism intended for time and safety critical applications using a radio channel for information transport are considered jointly. The protocol is based on a scheme of retransmissions done on demand within a given time window. Each retransmission is coded with a varying number of redundant symbols. The set of blocks used for retransmission is controlled by two quality-of-service parameters: deadline for the transmission and the probability that the correct decoded message will reach the recipient before this deadline. Analysis of a protocol model indicates that it is possible to transmit time critical information in a mobile wireless system with very low error probabilities in an industrial environment.

    Den digitala teknikens genombrott utgör idag en viktig förutsättning för att vi ska kunna

    kombinera olika typer av information som tidigare varit avgränsade. Ett resultat av denna

    mediekonvergens är e-pappret och e-papperstidningen, som inom en snar framtid

    kommer att finnas ute på marknaden. Begreppet mediekonvergens syftar till de möten

    som sker då olika medier förenas och bildar nya enheter. Undersökningen som denna

    uppsats baseras på behandlade e-papperstidningen och de förväntningar, baserat på

    tidigare erfarenheter, som de tilltänkta användarna har på detta nya medie. Målet var att

    få fram en bild av de faktorer som har störst betydelse för att tidningsläsarna i framtiden

    ska välja att läsa sin tidning på e-papper. Insamling av empiri skedde med en webbenkät

    som lades upp på Hallandspostens webbplats. Sammanställningen av svaren från 337

    respondenter visade att de faktorer som har störst betydelse är kontinuerligt uppdaterade

    nyheter, pålitlig teknik och att e-papperstidningen blir lätt att lära sig använda. Utöver

    detta har det visat sig att det är av stor betydelse att tidningen även i framtiden förknippas

    med känslor som avslappning, trygghet och sällskap. Vår studie visar att tidningskänslan

    inte är så starkt bundet till mediet utan snarare till de situationer och kontexten som

    tidningen förknippas med.

    The aim with this B.Sc. thesis project has been to develop an automatic sensitivity control function for the receiver-amplifier in an airborne radar system. The function has been developed through analysing recorded radar data from tests with an operable radar and thereby state good criteria's for adjusting the receiver gain. The work has resulted in documentation that identifies the demands and how to implement this function thereafter in today's radar. The main result is this B.Sc. thesis that gives a full briefing of the work which has been performed and the results it led to. The nature of this work and the secrecy policies regarding this kind of projects, led to that the full thesis could not be presented for public.

    In today’s society more and more resources are spent on mobility, our electronic products are being packed with more advanced technologies than before. PDA’s (Personal Digital Assistant) and mobile phones are full of new technologies and application programs to make them as multi-functional as possible. The purpose of this degree project is to implement a voltmeter to a PDA. The thought is that measurements could be done without access to research-labs and its usually clumsy gauge. With benefits like word processing and high resolution display, collected data can be processed and displayed directly on the PDA. The work has resulted in a system consisting of one prototype hardware module together with a Palm OS application program running on a Tungsten T3 from Palm. As mobility was given priority the chosen communication-interface between the two parts became bluetooth. On the prototype analogous voltage levels can be transmitted over bluetooth-radio and shown on the PDA in real-time.

    Abstract [sv]
    The purpose of this project was to construct a demonstrator of a system for sound analysis. Such a system is interesting as it´s getting more common for home users to have advanced music and home theater systems and these might not perform as well as they can due to the home environment. A room that not for fills some important acoustic rules will affect the sound terribly. The goal of such a system is to make amateurs realize these problems. The demonstrator was constructed using a microphone for recording the sound. An analog-to-digital converter for digitalizing the analog sound. A FPGA-system for storing and transmitting the samples. A PC that calculates and shows the result. The parts of the project was to program the FPGA-system in the programming language VHDL. The other part was to program the PC to receive samples, calculate them and show the result to the user.

    Fieldbus systems have become a powerful way to handle control of different devices in an industrial environment. These systems consist of a communication link and a protocol to handle the communication, both brought into line with industry needs. A swedish company has developed a concept that makes it possible for an OEM device to communicate with all the major fieldbus systems, just by exchanging a module. Control & Communication Link (CC-Link) is a standard fieldbus system that features communication with a maximum of 64 slave nodes at bit rates up to 10 Mbps. This report handles the hardware – and software development of an adapter for the CC-Link.

    I takt med de alltmer påtagliga miljöproblemen såsom klimatförändringar och minskning av biologisk mångfald har behovet av att agera ekologiskt hållbart blivit allt viktigare. Majoriteten av organisationer är idag eniga om att de har ett ansvar till bidragande av ett mer ekologiskt hållbart ageranade. Sveriges kommuner har ett ansvar att agera utifrån miljömål på en lokal nivå. Grön IS är ett begrepp som syftar till hur informationssystem kan stödja organisationer till att upprätta mer ekologiskt hållbara verksamhetsprocesser. Studiens syfte är att påvisa vilka strategiska orsaker som kan ligga till grund för tillämpning av grön IS för en svensk kommun. Det finns flera strategiska orsaker för organisationer att agera hållbart, i studien kartläggs ekologiska hållbarhetsstrategier och IS/IT-strategier vilka ligger till grund för grön IS-strategi. Den svenska kommunen representeras i en fallstudie av Varbergs kommun som eftersträvar att agera hållbart i sina verksamhetsprocesser. I studien har samband identifierats mellan Varberg kommuns ekologiska hållbarhetsmål och IS/IT-strategier där strategiska orsaker som effektivitet, attraktion, innovation och samverkan är anledningar att tillämpa grön IS.

    E-papperet är ett medie som i framtiden kan komma att användas för att läsa

    dagstidningar. Istället för att bläck trycks på papperet så visar e-papperet informationen

    genom att små partiklar på papperets yta byter färg vilket innebär att samma e-

    pappersark kan innehålla och visa ett stort antal sidor. Nya medier blir sällan accepterade

    utan att det funnits länkar till tidigare eller existerade tekniker. Denna studie ämnar

    kartlägga tidningsläsarnas användningsmönster och papperstidningens egenskaper för att

    understödja utformningen av morgondagens e-papperstidning. Genom att kombinera

    litteratur med egna undersökningar presenteras riktlinjer för vilka egenskaper och

    användningsmönster som framtidens e-papper bör stödja. Studien lyfter exempelvis fram

    att gränssnitt och navigation bör utformas i åtanke att majoriteten av tidningsläsarna läser

    tidningar vi köksbord och att formatet på e-pappret bör påminna om dagens tabloid

    format. Resultatet som presenteras skall kunna komma till nytta för företag och

    organisationer som skall utforma framtidens e-papperstidning. Rapporten beskriver med

    utgångspunkt från bland annat "diffusion theory" en kvalitativ studie där 400 enkäter

    skickades ut till prenumeranter av Sundsvalls tidning för att avslutas med en diskussion

    där förslag på fortsatt forskning och övriga slutsatser behandlas. Studien lyfter fram de

    viktigaste faktorerna som bör följas, samt ger förslag på hur de kan lösas samtidigt som

    nya frågor och diskussioner föds ur resultaten och diskussionerna.

    Our project was to examine if it is possible to replace electromecanical relays with solid state relays, when the load is inductive. The project has shown that it is possible. To prove it, we have constructed a device that regulates an electric engine witch has a high switching frequency. The Solid State Driver will be able to operate at least ten times longer then the old device with elektromecanical relays. The results are a fully functional Solid State Driver that is installed in a productionline at Stora Enso Hylte AB, SWEDEN.

    Idag väljer många företag att köpa in färdigutvecklade standardsystem, istället för att själva utveckla ett specialanpassat system, för att tillgodpse verksamhetens informationsbehov. Vi har studerat hur standardsystem ska anskaffas och nyttjas för att stödja en verksamhet och dess användare. yftena med studien har varit att studera användarnas möjlighet till delaktighet och utbildning vid anskaffning av standardsystem samt att studera användarnas möjlighet till fortbildning vid den dagliga användningen av systemet. Genom studien har vi kommit fram till att användarmedverkan och utbildning är två centrala begrepp för att skapa acceptans för de förändringar som anskaffandet av ett standardsystem medför. Vi ger slutligen ett antal riktlinjer, vilka vi rekommenderar verksamheter att följa för att anskaffa och nyttja ett standardsystem som ger stöd till verksamheten och dess användare.

    The Airsoft Community always search for realism and optimal performance.When the performance and/or the realism in your AEG1 aren’t enough you turn to modifications toimprove the weapon. But to manufacture such modifications isn’t that easy, hence you turn tocompanies that are specialized in creating such devices.The goal with this project is to create a prototype of a modification called “Programmable MOSFET”and targets optimization of the electrical components within the AEG. This means that you digitalizethe control of your AEG thus entails new functions and more stability to the system that isn’t possiblewith its mechanical predecessor.A prototype has been manufactured and programmed with functions according to requirementspecificationsthen it was tested on an airsoft-gearbox with rewarding results. The resulting prototypeis used as the basis for a final product that it is possible to base a business on.

    Abstract [en]
    Det har länge varit önskvärt att höja hastigheten i trådlösa nätverk. Ericsson Mobile Data Design AB håller på att utveckla sådana nätverk där radioprotokollet HiperLAN/2 används. Standarden stödjer en dataöverföringshastighet på upp till 54M bit/s inom 5GHz bandet. Systemet bygger på att man har en basstation och ett antal mobila terminaler(laptops) med PCMCIA/nätverkskort, som fungerar inom basstationens räckvidd. Vårt exjobb går ut på att emulera 8 stycken PCMCIA/nätverkskort på ett fysiskt sådant. Det innebär att basstationen uppfattar det som att ett visst riktiga datorer är uppkopplade mot den, fastän det i själva verket är ett visst antal emulerade versioner. Detta system kommer att användas för att testa basstationens funktionalitet och prestanda. Via ett grafiskt användargränssnitt(GUI)kommer man att kunna reglera data från för att styra nätverkskortet från terminalen.

    Abstract [sv]
    This thesis describes the design of a new controller to a container truck at Kalmar Industries. Their problem has been to control the movement of a loadbeam so they could raise and lower it smoothly. The control system is built on a computer. Existing controller is defective and operates a bit jerky with heavy loads. Other functional commercial solutions could be used but their structure becomes complex and more expensive. To solve the problem an identification of the existing controller and topical actuator has been done. Several identification methods were used giving a more reliable result. The new controller system is developed through well-tried methods and has been verified by test driving on a real container truck. The mathematical models on Kalmars controller and actuator have been identified. On the basis of this a new control structure was developed and verified by test driving. The tests have shown that our controller is faster and gives a better control of the load. All requirements from the company were fulfilled and this project has been successful.

    Abstract [en]

    Network protocols for applications that demand high performance and heterogeneous real-time services are presented. These protocols control the medium access to the network and offer additional features to the user, both different user services for traffic and services for parallel and distributed real-time processing. The network architecture assumed is a unidirectional pipelined optical ring.

    Radar Signal Processing (RSP) is a typical application area. Such a system contains many computation nodes that are interconnected in order to co-operate and thereby achieve higher performance. The computing performance of the whole system is greatly affected by the choice of network. Computing nodes in a parallel computer for RSP should be tightly coupled, i.e., communications cost (e.g. latency) between nodes should be small, so that the whole system can be perceived as a single unit. This is possible if a suitable network with an efficient protocol is used.

    There is an industrial need for new high-performance networks with support for the, often heterogeneous, real-time requirements found in (often embedded) applications such as RSP and other areas such as multimedia. The traffic this kind of network can be classified according to its requirements. The proposed protocols partition the traffic into three classes with distinctly different qualities. These classes are traffic with hard real-time demands, such as mission critical commands, traffic with soft real-time demands, such as process data (a deadline miss here only leads to decreased performance) and, finally, traffic with no real-time constraints at all. The contributions of the present thesis are protocols that integrate heterogeneous real-time services for the three traffic classes.

    The performance of the proposed protocols is evaluated through simulations and analysis. It is shown that the protocol is an efficient choice for RSP systems. A brief survey of related technologies is included in the thesis. These are studied from the perspectives of application, architecture and user service.

    Abstract [en]

    The paper presents results of simulations done with the CCR-EDF (Control Channel based Ring network with EDF scheduling) pipelined ring network together with a case study of system area networks for radar signal processing. The topology of the network is a pipelined unidirectional fibre-ribbon ring that supports several simultaneous transmissions in non-overlapping segments. Access to the network is divided into slots. In each slot the node that has the highest priority message is permitted to transmit. This feature of the medium access protocol gives the network the functionality for earliest deadline first scheduling. Different classes of traffic are supported for the user. These are guaranteed logical real-time channels (LRTC), best effort (BE) channels and non real-time (NRT) traffic. The case study used is from an airborne radar signal processing (RSP) application. Results of the simulations indicate that the CCR-EDF network works well with the RSP application studied.

    Analysis problems in a spatial reuse ring network with a simple clocking strategy2002Report (Other academic)
    Abstract [en]

    This technical report describes the problems associated with analysis of a spatial reuse ring network with a clock strategy also used in previously studied ring networks. The aim for the analysis was to find the worst case deterministic throughput. Some results are achieved and are presented. A worst case bound is found and this can be used for analysing feasibility of message connection sets. However, the bound is pessimistic and does not utilise the bandwidth reuse features of the network. This result does not meet the expectations that where foreseen because the medium access method inherently supports distributed global deadline scheduling. It is concluded that the current clock strategy of the network is the cause of the problems. It is also concluded that the analysis is complicated by the clocking strategy and that by introducing small changes in the network (will be presented in a separate paper), the analysis of the real-time performance will be much simpler. This will lead to a network with less pessimistic assumptions and hence better support for real-time traffic.

    This paper presents a network with earliest deadline first (EDF) scheduling on a per slot basis. The network is called CCR-EDF (Control Channel based Ring network with EDF scheduling). The topology is a pipelined unidirectional fibre-ribbon ring that supports several simultaneous transmissions in non-overlapping segments and with dedicated fibres for clock and arbitration. In each slot the node that has highest priority generates the clock. The clock hand over strategy together with the scheduling feature gives the network the functionality for earliest deadline scheduling of periodic messages belonging to logical real-time connections. Logical realtime connections may be added and removed during runtime, through admission control. Guaranteed realtime communication service is supported to the user. Other services include best effort traffic and special services for parallel and distributed processing such as barrier synchronisation and global reduction.

    Heterogeneous real-time services in high-performance system area networks - application demands and case study definitions2002Report (Other academic)
    Abstract [en]

    To be able to verify the feasibility of high-performance networks, it is essential to evaluate them according to specific application requirements. At the same time, specifications of quite general, or understandable, application requirements are needed for the ability to make repeated analyses on different networks. Especially, heterogeneous real-time requirements must be defined to be able to analyze networks to be used in future applications. In this report, we introduce two application fields where system area networks (SANs) supporting heterogeneous real-time services are highly desirable if not required: radar signal processing and large IP routers. For each application field, a case study with heterogeneous real-time communication requirements is defined. No case studies are presented in this report. Instead, they are defined for later evaluations to determine how suitable networks are for applications with heterogeneous real-time communication requirements.

    This paper introduces a novel, fair medium access protocol for a pipelined optical ring network. The protocol provides global deadline scheduling of packets. Requests for sending packets are sent by the nodes in the network to a master node. The master uses the deadline information in the requests to determine which packet is most urgent. Arbitration is done in two steps, the collection and distribution phases. The protocol is therefore called two-cycle medium access (TCMA). The network is best suited for LANs and SANs (system area networks) such as a high speed network in a cluster of computers or in an embedded parallel computer. Offered services in this network include best effort messages, guarantee seeking messages, real-time virtual channels, functions used in parallel processing. These are possible without additional higher level protocols. A simulation analysis of the network with the protocol is presented. Further analysis shows minimum slot length and fairness of the protocol.

    Det har gjorts en liten forskning gällande hurvida kommunala verksamheter är drabbade av Information Overload. vi har därför valt att beskriva hur en kommunal verksamhets planeringsavdelning påverkas av det informationsflöde som sprids genom informationsteknik. vi har avnänt oss av en kvalitativ ansats och med denna undersökt representanter på avdelningen samt avdelningschefen. För att kunna konsatera om avdelningen är drabbad avInformation Overload har vi skapat en referensram där vi behandlar struktur.kvalitet,kvantitet,format,e-mail overload samt orsaker och lösningar till Information Overload. det visade sig att representantena på avdelningen inte är stressade inför tekniken, vet vilken teknik de ska välja i olika situationer samt accepterar digitaliserningen. Repesentanterna har en hantering av e-mail som fungerar i dagsläget, viket gör att de inte är drabbade av e-mail overload. Vi anser att avdelningen som helhet inte är drabbade av Information Overload,men att delområdet struktur är drabbat av denna problematik. På övriga delområden där detta inte är fallet har vi dock funnit att personlig information Overload är ett problem. Vi har efter dessa konstateraden tagit upp vad avdelningen gör efektivt,definerat brister i verksamheten samt tagit fram förslag på åtgärder. vi anser att verksamheten borde genomföra den del förändringar gällande sin struktur, vilket främst innefattar att övergå från en server till en annan. Vi är även av åsikten att de måste bli bättre förberedda på att fler e-mail kan anlända till avdelningen. Detta så att de i framtiden inte drabbas av e-mail overload och så att de kan behålla sin nuvarande position inom områden där det i dagsläget råder färre problem

    Abstract [sv]
    This bachelor degree project started as a creative idea about the possibility to improve and facilitate parking in garages, partly for the persons parking and partly for the parking company. The persons parking should simply have to drive in, park and then drive out and the payment should come about automatically. The parking company should be able to avoid the risky handling of coins, the time demanding handling of invoice and they would be able to have a better customer foundation. We came up with this idea already during spring of 2001 and it has since partly been developed within other courses. We have developed a small-scale prototype with RFID-technology with well-functioning communication between the RFID units and a PC. To this communication a user interface with a belonging database to administrate the system was developed. This prototype enables the persons parking to drive into and out of the garage without stopping as long as they are registered in the database and has an RFID-tag available in the car. It required that a payment service was developed to give the system the wanted functionality and that we for the reliability of the system for the end customers, the persons parking, developed an acknowledgement service. To be able to handle the new services and the increased demands on the application has great efforts been made to extend and improve the existing system. The payment service means that nothing more is required from the persons parking, than that they have stated information to the database and that they have placed the RFID-tag on an appropriately place in the car. This should make it possible to drive into the garage, park and then drive out and the payment procedure to be automatic. This system should be very useful to parking companies as it diminishes the handling of coins and provides an increased service for the end customers. According to our conclusions the payment procedure should greatly facilitate both the parking company and the persons parking. Unfortunately we have not succeeded in making the payment procedure completely automatic, since the version of external program that we have been allotted is too old. This will be possible to develop with a newer version.

    This research lays a foundation for automated acquisition of volatile data by presenting a prototype device which carries out the deeds of a forensic investigator, essentially making it a “forensic investigator on a stick”. The Teensy 3.0 device is programmed to interact with an external USB device for storage purposes. All interaction with a live target system must be documented thoroughly according to forensic best practices. Therefore quantitative measurements of system contamination related to the device actions are presented. The device is conclusively able to perform a memory dump and provide a warning of the existence of Truecrypt encrypted containers.

    Abstract [en]

    Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) are a hot topic in the intelligent transport system (ITS) area. The introduction of wireless communications between vehicles will enable many useful applications to enhance road traffic safety as well to increase efficiency. The standardization of IEEE 802.11p, being an amendment to IEEE 802.11 intended for VANETS, faces many challenges. In Europe a 30 MHz spectrum at 5.9 GHz have been dedicated for ITS and this spectrum has to be used to its full potential. For this reason this thesis compares a 20 MHz wide frequency channel with a 10 MHz wide through measurements using 802.11p hardware. The measurements were conducted on a highway with relative speeds of up to 240 km/h. The results from these initial measurements show that a 20 MHz channel does not perform worse than a 10 MHz channel despite the high relative speeds and large metal signs scattering the signals.

    What enabled this thesis to do the measurements was Halmstad University‟s participation in the Grand Cooperative Driving Challenge (GCDC) 2011. In GCDC nine teams mostly from Europe competed in having the vehicle that had the best behaviour in a platoon of vehicles using cooperative adaptive cruise control (CACC), the CACC algorithm controlled the vehicles‟ acceleration and breaking autonomously based on in-vehicle sensors and communicated messages between the vehicles in the platoon using 802.11p. This thesis implemented the communication part of Halmstad University‟s vehicle. The challenge was held in Helmond, Holland, May 14-15, 2011. Halmstad University‟s team finished in second place.

    Internet har de senaste åren utvecklats från att enbart presentera information till att erbjuda avancerade tjänster för kunden. En av de tjänster som på senare tid fått stor genomslagskraft är banktjänster via Internet. Då dessa tjänster innefattar hantering av känslig information samt ekonomiska värden för kunden blir begreppet trygghet allt mer intressant att undersöka. Uppsatsens primära syfte har varit att undersöka om Internetbanker värderar trygghet högt, och i så fall vilka faktorer som sätts i fokus för skapandet av kundtrygghet. För att undersöka ovanstående fenomen började vi med att skapa en intuitiv modell där utgångspunkten var vår egen referensram. Därefter genomfördes en litteraturstudie inom relevanta, vetenskapliga områden. Litteraturstudien låg sedan till grund för utformningen av våra två separata undersökningar. Den första undersökningen hade som primärt mål att undersöka om trygghet var en viktig parameter för skapandet av kundtrygghet och är en grundläggande förutsättning för vår uppsats. Vår inledande undersökningen ledde oss in på vår andra undersökning som syftade till att se vilka faktorer som sattes i fokus av internetbankerna vid skapande av kundtrygghet. Den inledande undersökningen genomfördes i form av en enkätundersökning som skickades till fem banker och vår andra undersökning genomfördes som en kvalitativ intervju med en av oss utvald bank. I detta arbetet har vi löpande skapat modeller som baseras på vår egen referensram, litteraturstudien samt våra undersökningar. Analysen i vårt arbete bygger på en jämförelse av dessa tre modeller. I uppsatsens avslutande kapitel har en sammanfattning gjorts av de mest framträdande faktorerna för skapandet av kundtrygghet. Dessa faktorer presenteras i en sammanfattande modell. Den övergripande slutsatsen av detta arbete är att bankerna kan skapa trygghet genom att säkra de anställdas kompetens och trygghet i den egna organisationen. Vidare ska banktjänsten vara användarvänlig, funktionell, säker och genomsyras av tydlig information. Genom att stärka sitt eget varumärke och genom samarbete med andra i samma bransch kan gemensamma normer skapas och på så vis öka förtroendet för e-handel totalt.

    To be able to construct a wireless communication system there are many factors to be considered. One must think of how the system is about to be used, what kind of information that will be sent, what data rate will be needed, what is the environment around the system like, which components will work well together and so on. The choice of a suitable antenna could be as crucial as the choice of a well working collision protocol. The antenna could absorb interference caused by machines or other electrical equipment in its surroundings and in that way jam the real information that was sent out. The outgoing information could also be jammed if two or more nodes transmit at the same time, and in that way the information will collide with each other. Then there are techniques such as Bluetooth that offers a complete system, with for example an antenna, a complete layer stack with communication protocols and a processor.

    I dagens Sverige så har de mobila enheterna en självklar plats i våra fickor, likväl som i vårt samhälle och i dess brottslighet, vilket gör att det sedan några år är att anse självklart att de även har en central roll i IT–forensiska utredningar inom våra polismyndigheter. Men vid sidan av konkreta bevis för begångna brott lagrar enheterna dessutom ofta data som kan användas för att spåra enheten, och därmed också dess brukare, över tid, vilket givetvis är av intresse av polismyndigheter men skulle även kunna vara av stort intresse för exempelvis försäkringsbolag och andra delar av den 'civila sektorn' som driver utredningar men som saknar polisens befogenheter.     Ett RFID-system består av en läsare och ett antal transpondrar. Transpondern består av en antenn och ett chip med sytemets modulationsprotokoll och minne. Läsaren sänder ut ett RF-fält och då det passerar genom transponderns antenn ger det upphov till en spänning över spolen som förser transpondern med energi. Informationen som finns lagrad i transpondern sänds sedan tillbaka till läsaren och identifieras där. A RFID system consists of two major components the reader and the tag which provide the user with a non-contact solution to uniquely identify people, assets, and locations. When a tag is brought into the reader's magnetic field, the recovered energy powers the integrated circuit, and the data is transmitted to a user in the format by the host computer. Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) is the most advanced automated data capture, processing, and communications technology available today. RFID is an automatic identification technology, similar to bar code technology, with positive identification and automatic data transfer between a tagged object and a reader. Since the RFID tags are read by radio waves, instead of light waves (as with bar-codes) they will communicate through non-metallic materials such as paint, plastic, and dirt, and are impervious to vibration, light, water, and heat up to 100 degrees C in most cases.
