Voice and Sites of Resistance: A Woman's Quest for Empowerment and Freedom through Voice in Zora Neale Hurston's Their Eyes Were Watching God2023Independent thesis Advanced level (professional degree), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
    Abstract [en]

This essay analyzes the novel Their Eyes Were Watching God written by Zora Neale Hurston, 1937. The main focus is how the protagonist Janie uses her voice to subvert patriarchal oppression. In this essay my hypothesis is that she has a voice all along. However, it evolves due to her ability to engage in activities that are subversive to patriarchy. Her journey throughout the novel is a journey where the oppression from her relationships only makes her grow stronger as a woman. During her journey towards self-revelation as an empowered woman, she gradually gains her freedom and her own authentic voice by asserting control over her body and thoughts. The main theoretical terms of this essay are used in direct link to the struggles and achievements of formulating the self in a male dominated society. What I aim to achieve with this essay is to show how Janie emerges as a subject with a voice of her own in Hurston’s novel.

    Abstract [sv]

Sadomasochism and compliance in the Twilight Saga: Female Submission and the Romance of Being Loved to Death2013Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
    Abstract [en]

This essay examines the sadomasochistic relationship between the main characters of the Twilight Saga from a psychoanalytic perspective, and looks at the family and gender roles in the Saga from a post-feministic view. Aspects also considered are the portrayal of female sexuality as something dangerous and negative, recreational sex as something perverted, and the pro-marriage and anti-abortion propaganda in the last two novels. The purpose of the essay is to reveal how the author’s personal, and to some extent religious, beliefs and values are validated through the storyline; how the relationship between the main characters, as well as their personal psychological and physical health, change after matrimony and parenthood.

When the cat is away, the (m)other will play: regression and identity formation in Neil Gaiman's Coraline2014Independent thesis Advanced level (degree of Master (One Year)), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
    Abstract [en]

This essay examines Neil Gaiman’s Coraline from a psychoanalytic perspective, with focus on the formation of the super ego. While the young girl’s identity formation has been examined before, the general focus is often oedipal. In this essay, I choose to step away from the oedipal and examine the psychosymbolism throughout the novella. The aim is to see how Coraline’s own psychic development manifests itself in the other world. The characters in the novella are looked upon as representations of different aspects of Coraline’s psyche. Her actions with them are considered to be representations of internal conflicts or resolutions.

In short, this essay examines how the novella portrays the psychodevelopmental nature of the child's identity formation.

    Abstract [sv]

    Abstract [sv]

Därefter börjarutvecklingen ske i skolan under olika tillfällen.

    Abstract [sv]

    Abstract [sv]

    Abstract [en]

This essay is a study of three fiction novels by the Swedish author Amanda Svensson: Hey Dolly (2008), Välkommen till den här världen (2011) and Allt det där jag sa till dig var sant (2014). A unified theme for the novels is identity making where the three young female protagonists try different identities and explore who they are. The aim of this study is therefore to investigate in which ways the protagonists explore their identities and how this is expressed. Gender theory and genre theory are used when analyzing the characters in the novels.

In the analysis it becomes clear that the protagonists explore their identities in different ways. The three young women are aware of that they live in a society in which male and female gender stereotypes exist. In some cases they adjust to the gender roles but in many cases they also observe the gender stereotypes and problematize them. Therefore the protagonists sometimes differ from how a stereotype woman is portrayed.

The new Cinderella's Identity Confusion: in the Lunar Chronicles, Cinder by Marissa Meyer2022Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
    Abstract [en]

The fairy tale of Cinderella is known for its romance, but she seeks independence while being confused by her identity in a new version by Marissa Meyer called Cinder. This essay will present how Meyer’s Cinderella, Cinder, confuses the gender roles by taking on both feminine and masculine ones. This blend makes Cinder not entirely compatible with the norms, and her identity confusion makes it even harder, which results in her losing her conception of self. While she is trying to conform to the gender norms and receive recognition from others (be accepted by society), she denies her heritage and cyborg self to the point of creating a false identity. However, her cybernetics and abuse prevent her from being recognized – she even loses her only source of recognition, which indicates that a norm breaker is not worthy of having it. Nevertheless, Cinder shows signs of what a queer cyborg would do if forced into an identity; as queer, Cinder is not meant to be embodied or forced into an identity and should also have the ability to be free and change her identity as she pleases. Regardless of being queer, the abuse and society’s views prevent her from escaping her identity confusion.

A Harlot at Camelot: Female Power and Sexuality in The Mists of Avalon2017Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
    Abstract [en]

The Mists of Avalon is not the first contemporary novel written based on the tales of King Arthur. It is, however, the first best-selling story with solely female focalizers, which makes it a notable work. Drawing largely on Sir Thomas Malory’s work Le Morte D’Arthur, it tells the tale of Arthur’s rise and fall through the eyes of his sister Morgan le Fay – or Morgaine, as Bradley has chosen to call her. Making Morgan le Fay the main character and focalizer is an unusual move, since she, although she has been portrayed in several different ways throughout history, has always been seen through someone else’s eyes. In this regard, The Mists of Avalon turns the tables of the traditional narrative, and gives Morgan le Fay - or Morgaine - a personality, and makes her someone whose perspective the reader can understand and relate to.

Money and myths: An exploration of models of value in early 19th-century literature and texts on economy

The main aim of this paper is to show how the concept of money could be treated in literary and in economic writings in the Swedish Age of Romanticism. Three texts — an early poem by Erik Johan Stagnelius and two contemporary essays in economic theory — serve as examples of how, and for which purpose, qualitative and quantitative values could be negotiated in these writings. The study shows that, in the poem, money and profit are treated as inconsistent with such qualitative values as freedom, justice, and joy, whereas the two theoretical essays both make use of different strategies of fictionalization to deal with qualitative and quantitative values in one and the same narration. In this paper, the fictionalization strategies are linked to the paracapitalist approach often to be found in the political and economic theories in the Romantic period. From the perspective of economy-discourse history, an attempt is made to link the two essays to the German economist and philosopher Adam Müller and his Versuche einer neuen Theorie des Geldes (1816).

Den moderna ensamhetens paradox: En litteraturvetenskaplig analys av modernitet och individualism i Therese Bohmans Aftonland2019Independent thesis Advanced level (professional degree), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
    Abstract [sv]

    Abstract [sv]

Mortal Minds and Cosmic Horrors: A Cognitive Analysis of Literary Cosmic Horror in H.P.Lovecraft's ”The Shadow Out of Time”2018Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
    Abstract [en]

This essay explores how the reader cognitively reacts to reading H. P. Lovecraft’s horror story “The Shadow Out of Time” (1936). I analyse the text to see how it invites readers to beaffected by it. I specifically look at invitations to envisionment, subjective experience andintersubjectivity. The literary horror terms uncertainty and uncanniness are used inconjunction with cognitive theory to explain how the readers may react to readingLovecraft’s stories. These are in turn reinforced by the reader's ongoing envisionment of thestory, and their sharing of the character’s experiences via subjective experience. For example, the separation between the mind and body of the protagonist creates an uncanny dissonanceto his own identity, which disrupts the reader’s understanding of the character. This maycause distress in the reader due to the subjective experience that connects the reader to thecharacter. Additionally, the disrupted sense of reality in the book affects the narrator'sperceptions of both his surroundings and his own mental faculties. Subsequently, the reader’sunderstanding of the text is also in a state of flux which affects their envisionment of thestory. This disrupts understanding and may enhance feelings of unease. My theory istherefore that unease is invited by certain horror techniques, such as uncertainty anduncanniness, which in turn influence the reader specifically through subjective experienceand envisionment.

Into the Isle of Self: Nietzschean Patterns and Contrasts in D. H. Lawrence's The Trespasser1996Doctoral thesis, monograph (Other academic)
    Abstract [en]

This thesis is based on a close reading of Lawrence's novel The Trespasser from a Nietzschean point of view. By adopting this perspective it aims at giving the novel the sense of unity it has so far been alleged to lack. The analysis is preceded by a detailed discussion of the concept of literary influence. Since the purpose of this study is to illuminate what is unique in Lawrence's novel rather than to claim any derivative use of Nietzsche's thought, the focus is on Lawrence's transformative and dynamic way of adopting Nietzschean themes in his novel. The Trespasser is read in its Edwardian context, with particular attention to the response that Nietzsche's philosophy met with 1900-1910. A separate section is devoted to the presentation of him in the Socialist weekly The New Age in 1908-09. The analysis of The Trespasser is conducted along two partly related lines of thought: the Apollonian-Dionysian dichotomy as it is presented by Nietzsche in The Birth of Tragedy, and the process towards a Dionysian awareness that is put forward in Thus Spoke Zarathustra. As is pointed out in chapter three, the Apollonian-Dionysian contrast is reflected chiefly in the characterization, setting, symbolism, and to some degree also in the action of the novel. In chapter four the actual progression of the plot is dealt with in terms of a Zarathustran journey and the light symbolism associated with it. Moreover, some of Lawrence's early poems are discussed in connection with Nietzschean parallels found in The Trespasser, with a view to emphasizing the pervasive influence of Nietzsche's ideas on the young Lawrence.

Dear?, Am I Truly Yours?: Private Correspondence as a Field of Public Meanings2008Conference paper (Other academic)
    Abstract [en]

Writing a life necessarily means that the dichotomy public/private is actualised. Even the most private matters are made public as soon as they are put into the public medium of writing. As is a well-known fact, for a woman writing in the 19th century this transition from private to public was particularly problematic. In order to handle it, many female writers adopted a male pseudonym in order to gain acceptance in the public arena. What was more unusual for a woman was to keep up a male persona in private correspondence.

In 1910 the Australian novelist Henry Handel Richardson (pseudonym for Ethel Lindsay Richardson) was contacted by the French man of letters Paul Solanges whose aim was to translate her first novel Maurice Guest (1908). In the ensuing correspondence spanning almost four years she never dropped the male mask. In the proposed paper I want to demonstrate the complex web of gendered position-taking in the letters they exchanged, which in the end proved that both their lives were entrapped in writing.

    Abstract [en]

This article argues that Bakhtin’s concepts of heteroglossia and dialogic imagination are useful for theorising the process of transduction involved in the representation of the printed text in audiobook narration. The fact that new recordings of canonical novels keep being launched is regarded as a means of meeting the listener’s urge to literally hear the past and of reconstructing the network of dialogic relations that is present in the original novels but it is also argued that there are pitfalls associated with this endeavour.

    Abstract [en]

To judge from literature produced in England around the turn of the twentieth century, the Edwardian period was a noisy one. The development of the player piano and the possibility provided by piano rolls for storing more music than previously helped introduce classical music to the masses. However, this process of democratisation resulted in confusion between music and noise. By analysing five Edwardian novels influenced by the player piano discourse, this article will argue that dealing with music in fiction was a means of disposing of musical waste.

The Player Piano and the Edwardian Novel2015Book (Refereed)
    Abstract [en]

In her study of music making in the Edwardian novel, Cecilia Björkén-Nyberg argues that the invention and development of the player piano had a significant effect on the perception, performance and appreciation of music during the period. In contrast to existing devices for producing music mechanically such as the phonograph and gramophone, the player piano granted its operator freedom of individual expression by permitting the performer to modify the tempo. Because the traditional piano was the undisputed altar of domestic and highly gendered music making, Björkén-Nyberg suggests, the potential for intervention by the mechanical piano’s operator had a subversive effect on traditional notions about the status of the musical work itself and about the people who were variously defined by their relationship to it. She examines works by Dorothy Richardson, E.M. Forster, Henry Handel Richardson, Max Beerbohm and Compton Mackenzie, among others, contending that Edwardian fiction with music as a subject undermined the prevalent antithesis, expressed in contemporary music literature, between a nineteenth-century conception of music as a means of transcendence and the increasing mechanisation of music as represented by the player piano. Her timely survey of the player piano in the context of Edwardian commercial and technical discourse draws on a rich array of archival materials to shed new light on the historically conditioned activity of music making in early twentieth-century fiction.

Translators, Tricksters and Traps: The Correspondence between Paul Solanges and Henry Handel Richardson as Life-Writing Project2017In: Life Writing, ISSN 1448-4528, E-ISSN 1751-2964, Vol. 14, no 1, p. 83-96Article in journal (Refereed)
    Abstract [en]

In 1910, Paul Solanges wrote to Henry Handel Richardson, author of Maurice Guest (1908), offering to translate the novel into French. Solanges had been deeply moved by the music novel recounting the story of a piano student’s attraction to a femme fatale. Throughout the translation process, which went on for over three years and was never completed due to the translator’s death, Richardson and Solanges exchanged some 300 letters. Initially Solanges was unaware that he was corresponding with a woman and although he soon began to suspect that this was the case, he never confronted her with his suspicion. Instead, the correspondents were in implicit agreement that they were setting traps for each other, a feature that has been given some scholarly attention in the study of Richardson’s creation of her male persona. However, in the present article, the ‘story of traps’ is approached primarily from the point of view of Solanges’s life-writing project. It is claimed that due to its liminal character, the correspondence sits neatly within the trickster genre. The argument is built on Jacques Derrida’s notion of the archive as a phenomenon to be understood from a point in the future. As such, the existence today of the meticulously edited correspondence testifies to the triumphant outcome of Solanges’s painful suffering from archive fever. © 2016 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group

Fiction, Social Cognitive Skills, and ASD students: A series of lesson plans based on Mark Haddon's novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time2021Independent thesis Advanced level (professional degree), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
    Abstract [en]

Working with students on the spectrum, I often find myself trying to clarify and mediate misinterpretations between students, interruptions in conversations, and reminding them to be active listeners. This essay aims to explore ways in which literature could enhance social cognitive skills among students on the autism spectrum by utilizing Michelle Garcia Winner's methodology, the ILAUGH model, in conjunction with Mark Haddon’s novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. In order to build social-cognitive skills among ASD students, literature offers concrete examples of social interaction, non-verbal language, perspectives of others, and role models that the students can mimic. The ILAUGH model's clear structure facilitates the approach to literature in the classroom and can become an instrument in the school environment that raises confidence and helps students feel safe and free from anxiety.

Könsmönsters påverkan på litteraturarbetet i skolan: En systematisk litteraturstudie om hur litteraturarbetet i skolan ser ut ur ett genusperspektiv2021Independent thesis Advanced level (professional degree), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
    Abstract [en]

This literature study was conducted with the aim to examine how the literature work in school appears from a gender perspective. It was based on two questions: “according to scientific research, how is the pupil’s reading affected by gender norms?” and “according to scientific research, how can different views of gender be made visible by working with fiction in the classroom?”. Initially, the importance of equality according to the different national policy documents was presented. Next, the progression of children’s literature from a gender perspective was introduced, from the 1940s to the 1970s. Research showed that fiction can influence children’s thoughts about gender, and how both schoolbooks and fiction occasionally strengthen traditional gender norms. The method for collecting data went in line with a model, where the search process was divided into two phases. The key words were chosen and the databases that were used were ERIC, APA Psychinfo and SwePub, along with some manual searches. The result indicates that gender norms play a significant role when choosing and interpreting books. Children’s intertextual knowledge is crucial for how they are interpreting texts. The result also shows that the teacher has an important role when making different views of gender visible, and three ways to do this is by making conscious book choices, by engaging the students in discussions about books, and by roleplaying with the students.

Based on the result of this study, further research will be made with the aim to examine if the teacher’s treatment of the students in booktalks have an impact on their perception of gender.

The Complexity of Motherhood in Dystopian Novels: A comparative study of Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale and Lois Lowry’s The Giver2020Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
    Abstract [en]

This study explores how motherhood is depicted in Margaret Atwood’s and Louis Lowry’s dystopian novels The Handmaid’s Tale and The Giver. It examines the negative social and psychological consequences of forced surrogacy in the novels’ state-constructed nuclear families, looking closely at a lack of maternal love and care. Using feminist and psychoanalytic criticism, this essay examines the link between the broken connection of mother and child and the protagonists’ search for maternal love in other relationships. It contrasts the protagonists’ rebellion to the social backlash effect and shows how motherhood emerges as a form of resistance against the social engineering of the dystopian societies.

"Världslitteraturens störste dramatikergenom tiderna föddes 1564": En sociosemiotisk analys av hur läromedel legitimerar litteratur2018Independent thesis Basic level (professional degree), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
    Abstract [sv]

    Abstract [en]

Catrine Brödje, Women's death by drowning. A literary motif at the turn of the century 1900

The picture of a dead woman was a common motif around the previous turn of the century. In the four literary texts that I am studying in this essay, a woman drowns. The texts are Georg Heym's poem "Die Tote im Wasser", Bertolt Brecht's ballad "Vom ertrunkenen Mädchen", Kate Chopin's novel The Awakening and Anna Lenah Elgström's short story "Det sjungande barnet".

It is strange that women's death by drowning is a common motif in these four different texts published between 1899 and 1927 in Sweden, Germany and the United States. It may be a coincidence, but the common motif is there and therefore calls for a comparison.

Brecht's, Heym's, Chopin's and Elgström's texts are read in the light of the changed gender order, which was a result of the discourse on modernity in the early 1900s, and thereby the different gendered views on the motif women's death by drowning are made visible. The essay will explore the possibility of letting female and male writers establish a dialogue, where both the female and the male voices are heard instead of stopping at the fact that the motif of women's death by drowning becomes solely a male monologue.

Ett annat tiotal: En studie i Anna Lenah Elgströms tiotalsprosa1998Doctoral thesis, monograph (Other academic)
    Abstract [en]

This thesis investigates the literary texts by Elgström in relation to the political, cultural and literary context of the years between 1910 and 1920.

Among her contemporaries Elgström was important, but today she is completely unknown. The literary criticism of her time is one of the reasons why her writings have been transferred to the periphery. When she made her début, Elgström was very positively received. After that, the literary critics were not capable of seeing the innovative aspects of her prose of that period and a discussion of incomprehensibility was initiated, in which words like hysterical, extatic and exalted became catchwords. It appears that Elgström created a form of expression that was not yet accepted in literature. The male dominated literary criticism was at a loss and Elgström was ignored.

The prose she wrote during the period in question has a distinctly experimental approach. In her literary texts, that are violating the standard conventions, Elgström appears as a female modernist and creates alternative images in the form of feminist and pacifist utopias. Expressionism is the modernist movement that can mainly be related to her prose of this period. Like the expressionists, she expresses a new sense of life which is permeated with religious conceptions.

In the study the female modernism is seen in a feminist perspective, as well as in a perspective of gender theory where networks constitute an important basis. Elgström often worked in female networks and thus she became an important figure in the context of female literature and female politics of that time.

By showing Elgström's kinship with the nation-wide early Swedish modernism, the Finno-Swedish modernism and the German expressionism, as well as by illustrating Elgström's position in the context of female literature and female politics of that time, the study contributes to a different image of the 1910s.

    Abstract [en]

"'Se kvinnorna'. Marika Stiernstedt, Hjalmar Söderberg and the gender-political context at the beginning of the 20th century"

This study discusses the concept of intertextuality by examining Martin Bircks ungdom (1901) and Doktor Glas (1906) by Hjalmar Söderberg and Lilas äktenskap (1910) by Marika Stiernstedt in the context of early 20th century gender-political discussion. Stiernstedt and Söderberg raise questions about sex, gender, love, sexuality and morality against a backdrop of works such as Lifslinjer I (1903) by Ellen Key, Ny kärlek. En bok för mogna andar (1902) by Elisabeth Dauthenday (1902) and to some extent Fyra böcker om Kristi efterföljelse (1894) by Thomas a Kempis. Stiernstedt and Söderberg show in their literary work that the contemporary gender-political discussion was characterized by security and perplexity. The female protagonists in their novels seem to be trapped in what Birgitta Holm calls “the no man's land of feminine desire", that is, in a borderland between an increasingly loosened Victorian ideal woman and an even more vague idea of the New Woman. However, although these three women live under entirely different conditions, they can still be regarded as forerunners to the New Woman.

Abstract [en]

The aim of this study was to explore the attitude towards using the fantasy genre while teaching literature among Swedish teachers, students and a librarian. Furthermore, the main focus was to see if the fantasy genre could contribute to the students’ cognitive and emotional development, as well as explore if using the fantasy genre could have beneficial outcomes for the students, in order for them to reach the aims of the curriculum, in the different levels of Swedish. The methods used were semi-structured interviews with three upper secondary Swedish teachers and one librarian and 47 questionnaires to students from three different classes, in the South of Sweden. The interview questions and the questioners were analyzed taking into account current research within the area, and further based on my own experience. The compiled results showed that the responding teachers and the librarian could all see positive outcomes of using the genre. 50 percent of the students would have liked to see more fantasy in their education and 50 percent had no such desire. All the interviewees thought that fantasy had a positive effect on the students’ cognitive and emotional development. The teachers also thought that using the genre in their teaching could help the students reach the aims of the curriculum, which was something 50 percent of the students noticed as well.

Genusanalys av två kvinnliga karaktärer i fantasyserien Game of Thrones: "Fantasy is hardly an escape from reality. It's a way of understanding it." (Lloyd Alexander)2014Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
    Abstract [sv]

Denna uppsats analyserar hur genus gestaltas i fantasyserien Game of Thrones.

    Abstract [en]

This essay deals with the relationship between subcultures and literature. It includes an analysis of what adolescents read if they get to choose fiction by themselves. The method used in this essay is a hermeneutic method. Five novels are used in the search for subcultures and qualities and ideals within them. The essay reveals five specific subcultures, and significant features of those are presented in the analysis. These subcultures are represented in the five novels, as well as in society in general.

Furthermore, the purpose of this essay is to inherit deeper knowledge about the different subcultures represented among adolescents. The essay tries to challenge teachers to be aware of what different subcultures there are and how to use the knowledge about them when teaching.

    Abstract [en]

This study was conducted with the aim to make gender representation visible in books that are being read-aloud to pupils in the grades 0-3. The study was based on two questions: “What does the representation of gender look like in the books that are being read aloud to the pupils?” and “What does the figuration of the books' characters look like from a gender perspective?”. Initially, the importance of equality according to the different national policy documents was presented. Swedish schools have a mission, according to the curriculum, to achieve equality. This is necessary because research showed that children were affected by gender norms and made choices based on them. Therefore, several authors meant that teachers should be making conscious book choices, where they choose norm-critical books. According to the curriculum, children should face different kinds of stories in school that give them new knowledge and insight. The read-aloud book that the teacher chooses could be used as a tool for opening discussions about gender. The method for collecting data went in several steps. First, several libraries across the country were asked to send their statistics of the most borrowed children's literature in the age gap of 6-9 or 9-12. The statistics then were compiled into one list of the 18 most popular children´s books. A survey was then conducted with the compiled list of books, and it was sent out into two Facebook groups, for teachers to answer. The teachers answered the question if they have or are planning to read this book with their pupils. The five most popular books were then analysed with the help of our own constructed analysis-tool, and the method for analysing was qualitative text analysis and semiotic picture analysis. This study's theoretical framework was Hirdman´s (1988; 2003) theory of gender system, gender contract and three different formulas to express gender stereotypes, Harding´s (1986) theory of symbolic and structural gender and Nikolajeva´s (2017) scheme of stereotypical attributes. The result showed that the representation of gender was rather equal between the two sexes. The characters' portrayal on the other hand went mostly in line with the stereotypes for their gender, with some exceptions. Female characters were mostly portrayed as caring and passive, with makeup and long eyelashes. Male characters on the other hand were mostly portrayed as active and brave. Finally, further research should be made where the impact of fiction on young children is analysed, and there is also a need for further research on Swedish children's books from a gender perspective. Further research could also be made where booktalks after a read-aloud session are used to open discussions about gender.

Hur lärare motiverar elever till läsning: En kunskapsöversikt om hur lärare kan motivera elever till läsning i årskurs 1-32021Independent thesis Advanced level (professional degree), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
    Abstract [sv]

Bland sumprunkare, sjåare och sillpackare: Om maskulinitet i Per Anders Fogelströms Mina drömmars stad2020Independent thesis Advanced level (professional degree), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
    Abstract [sv]

I denna uppsats studeras Per Anders Fogelströms historiska roman Mina drömmars stad.
