Abstract [en]
When thinking of the security of the home or building, the one can never be carelessor neglect the need of the door locks. Crimes is in their high level in all over theworld, leaving many people with un secure feelings, this means having such a gooddoors locks give the peace of mind and provide the one the protection against theburglars.
There are many types of door locks techniques one of them is the Dead bolt typewhich give the maximum safety level among the locks. The one inch type deadboltlock can make the burglars way from kicking and force themselves in the ones home. There are many different benefits of having high quality security door locks. You don’t want to scrimp here! In fact, you will want to get the best security door lockspossible in order to ensure the best in your home security.
All the locks have their strong and weak points, so the client that we have collaboratewith have some ideas about the good lock .We tried find a new practical concept tothe new lock case depending on the ASSA 8765 lock.
By using model given by Ullman [Ullman, 1992] as a methodology and with the helpof Solid works as CAD system a model have been designed and FEM calculationshave been carried out.
The results were not sure quite enough because of many reasons such as lack of time,but the report absolutely will be a good base for the future work.
