Abstract [sv]

I dagens samhälle är energiförbrukning väldigt viktigt och framförallt något som kommer bli en betydligt större aspekt framåt i tiden, särskilt om man jämför med hur man tar hänsyn till det idag. Bengt-Olof Hammar (se inledning) har sju stora maskiner i snickeriet där han startar och stänger av spånsuget manuellt. Önskemålet från Hammar var i grunden att automatisera snickeriet på så sätt att vid en maskinstart startar spånsuget och spjället till respektive maskin öppnas. Projektet utökades senare så att möjligheten att slå ifrån utsuget när maskinerna körts på tomgång en viss tid är möjligt. En ny produkt togs fram med en välfungerande lösning av problemet och lyckade resultat vid styrning av spånsuget och spjäll. Produkten kan konfigureras för varje maskin och kan användas för andra liknande problem.

Abstract [en]

In today's society, energy consumption is very important, and above all, something that will have a much larger aspect in the future, especially compared with today. The project consists, upon the request of Bengt-Olof Hammar (see paragraph Inledning) has seven large machines in his workshop where he starts and stops the chip extractor manually. The desire of Bengt-Olof was basically to automate the workshop so that when a machine starts the chip extractor starts and the dampers for the machine is opened. The project was later expanded so that the ability to turn off the chip extractor when the machine run on idle for a certain period of time. A new product was developed with a great solution to the problem and good results in controlling the chip extractor and dampers. The product can be configured for each machine and can be used for other similar problems.
