Abstract [sv]

Examensarbetet handlar om att utveckla nästa generations koncept för bostadsventilationsdontill Lindabs nya produktsegment. Projektet har gått ut på att ta reda på vad som eftersöks iframtidens ventilationsdon, samt att utveckla dessa tankar och åsikter till visuella idéer. Dessahar bedömts med hjälp av välkända metoder inom produktutveckling samt utvärderats avpersoner inom industrin, så som arkitekter, designers och vvs-konsulter.Projektet har huvudsakligen baserats på Svids designmetodik med kompletterande metoderfrån David Ullman och Jan Landqvists metodik. Moment som ingått i dessa har inneburitanalyser, skissning, utvärdering och 3D-rendering. Detta har resulterat i ett slutgiltigt konceptbaserat på den information som har analyserats under projektes gång.

Abstract [en]

The thesis is about developing the next generation concepts for residential ventilation outletfor Lindab's new product segment. The project has been to find out the demand for the futureventilators, and to develop these thoughts and opinions to visual ideas. These have beenassessed with the help of well-known methods in product development as well as evaluatedby people in the industry, such as architects, designers and plumbing contractors. The projecthas mainly been based on Svids design methodology with supplementary methods fromDavid Ullman and Jan Landqvists methodology. Steps that have been used in the project hasinvolved analysis, sketching, evaluation, and 3D rendering. This has resulted in a finalconcept based on the information that has been analyzed in the project.
