En kvalitativ socialpsykologisk uppsats med syfte att belysa betydelsen av gemenskap och det

sociala i missbrukares process av tillfrisknande. Det empiriska materialet grundas i tio nyktra

missbrukares livsberättelser, med vilka vi kommit i kontakt med genom organisationen VågaVa. Parallellt med vårt huvudsyfte vill vi också spegla denna stödorganisation. Den övergripande analytiska ramen diskuterar social aktivitet, etik, gemenskap i förhållande till kampen mot missbruket, vi lyfter även fram vikten av stöd- och samtalsgrupperna Nyktra Narkomaner och 12-stegsprogrammet. Teorierna som appliceras på materialet är R. Collins interaktionsritualer, T. Scheffs sociala band samt H. Stenbergs reflexiva gemenskap.

Abstract [en]

This is a qualitative social psychological essay with the aim to show the importance of community and fellowship for the drug addict recovery. The empirical material comes from a collaboration with the VågaVa organisation where we got to listen to the life stories of ten sober addicts, our study is made in such way that we reflect the impression we got of this organisation and the people we met there. The overall analytical framework for discussing social activity, ethics, community in relation to the fight against abuse, we also emphasize the importance of support and discussion groups Sober Narcotics and 12-step program. The theories applied to the material are R. Collins, interaction rituals, T.Scheff social ties and H. Stenberg reflexive community.
