Abstract [sv]
The primary object in this work was to develop a specific macro for the company EAB. The goal with this macro was to reduce the time being used to model a column with certain details by half. The company uses a 3D, model based program called Tekla Structures. This program has a function called: Custom Component, which means that a user can make own macros without any advanced knowledge about programming. Much work was put down to make the macro as easy to use as possible. As the work proceeded som limits was discovered int the function Custom Component, but the most of it could be worked around and didn´t affect the final result, which clearly fulfilled the goals.
