Abstract [sv]

This Thesis has been made in cooperation with Electrolux Laundry Systems in Ljungby and is our final project towards our exam as Bachelors of Science in mechanical engineering. The main purpose of the project has been to eliminate the vibrations produced by the unbalance in the company’s washing machine W365H. To get to the bottom of this problem and avoid these vibrations we have invented a damping system with active damping characteristics that allows the damper to automatically vary dependently of the unbalance of the system. The result of this project is three unique vibration dampers. To guarantee that these constructions solve the problem in reality as well as they do in theory we have manufactured a full-scale prototype of each one of the constructions.
