Det informella nätverkets betydelse
Halmstad University, School of Business and Engineering (SET).
2006 (Swedish)Independent thesis Advanced level (degree of Master (One Year))Student thesis
Abstract [sv]
This study about informal networks shows that most company owners in Gnosjö have extensive informal networks, but the authors believe that it is of importance that also company owners outside of Gnosjö understand the benefits of participating in such networks. An open exchange of ideas creates a more relaxed environment, which leads to a more creativity and a sense of reward. While still competing, the exchange of information and services between company owners makes it possible for them to spur each other on. This could contribute to the future development of their businesses. The authors mean that an efficient use of informal networks gives individual company owners in regions increased strength with regards to the four points that Porter (1990) posits in his Diamond model; Firm strategy, structure and rivalry, Factor conditions, Demand conditions and Supporting industries.
