Abstract [sv]

We have done a degree project in cooperation with Kungsäter Bilbärgning AB, which is a towing-company connected to Assistancekåren. The companies owner, Bengt Sjölin, had an idea several years ago about a new type of towing lorry that allows unique adjustments of the constructions parts. Our jobs were to decide what material to use, do the dimensioning of the construction and to make necessary blueprints for the creation of a prototype. The project has been of great extent and has required good knowledge in CAD, materials and problem solving. As help in the start of the project we received handmade sketches by Bengt Sjölin and incomplete blueprints by the consulting firm CADcon. We believe that the results of our work will be of great satisfaction and a prototype can be built.
