Abstract [en]

Our dissertation is about general information about Polish economy and the way how Poland became a European Union member. Also we concentrate on Swedish economy background and we described how it was changing through the years. Furthermore we present international relation between Polish and Swedish trade and investments. Also we describe problems and opportunities for Swedish companies who want to invest in Poland including barriers to trade and investments in Poland. On the other hand we try to explain why Swedish companies want to locate their capital on the Polish market. Furthermore we continue by describing three Swedish case companies which have already invested in Poland.
