Abstract [sv]
The foundation of this thesis is based upon development of a tool to map the behaviour of fish and to increase the possibility for a more effective sportfishing. This thesis describes the work with two main units that represent the complete system for dataaquisition, visualization, userinteraction and underwater radiocommunication. The system is developed to be used together with existing downriggers, where one unit is connected at the downriggers weight to map the surrounding environment. To map the different temperature layers depths and measure the baits relative speed at effects of underwater currents, sensors has been embedded. It has come to knowledge that it is interesting to know the lightconditions around the bait and therefor a lightsensor has been installed. This is considered to give a fair description of the baits environment for the sportsfisherman.
