Abstract [sv]
The purpose of this project is to develop a prototype to an IR receiver. The purpose of the receiver is to be able to receive sound direct from a transmitter that is connected to a microphone or a similar device and thereby minimise the background noise. This prototype shall be compatible with existing systems found on the market today. The most common technique for transmitting sound by IR light today is frequency modulation and it is also used in this project. The receiver is designed for low voltage and current use. In this project the transmitter that is used is an existing product and the receiver has been constructed to receive its signal. To conserve battery life it is desirable that the receiver draws a current less than 2mA. This requirement has not been fulfilled, besides that the prototype works satisfactorily.
