Abstract [sv]
The study contemplated is designed to examine the connection between the degree of motivation of the development personnel and the level of innovation in Swedish product development companies. Through a bivariate correlation analyse it was stated that a positive correlation exists between the eight factors included in the degree of motivation and the level of innovation. Through a regression analysis it was dually noted that a good 15 percent of the linear connection with the level of innovation is explained by the eight motivation factors. This should mean that the level of innovation of Swedish product development companies is to 15 percent affected by the degree of motivation of the development personnel. In a list of precedence of the eight motivation factors, it was stated that the Work environment, the Responsibility and the Development of the employees are the motivation factors with strongest correlation as against the level of innovation.
