Abstract [en]
The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how Volvo Car Corporation (VCC) is using the method lessons learned between projects to transfer knowledge. This thesis will give an understanding of the complexity in how to use methods to transfer knowledge. This thesis is developed by interviews, reviews and relevant literature in the theory for this case study at Volvo Car Corporation. During this study the authors have discovered ten frequent problem areas that have been mentioned by the respondents in the use of the lessons learned method. The conclusion presented can contribute to increase the understanding of the methodical way the learning activities are handled in an organisation. This could help companies in the same line of business as Volvo Car Corporation to address the same issues and help them in their effort of knowledge transfer between projects.
