Abstract [en]
This master thesis discusses the aspects of work motivation and reward systems in order to undersstand how to increase productivity, loyalty and quality of output within a work force. In todays´ competitive society a company with a good understanding of these factors has a competitive advantage. Data for this thesis has been collected in Sweden and Zambia, and a comparison is also made in the subject between these two different countries and cultures. A total of four companies have participated in the research.
