Abstract [sv]
Abstract The goal with the project is to construct an application that converts between the graphic interfaces OpenGL and DirectX but also with the possibility to support more interfaces/formats (for example VRML). The idea with the support of more 3D interfaces has resulted in a new interface for better management of the OpenGL library. The platform makes the conversing process easier and contributes to future development possibilities. The convert process works with source code only, both input and output. A graphical user interface is also implemented for user friendly purpose. The major area of usage of the converter is as a tool to aid programmers to work with those languages that the conversion tool supports. Another area of usage is for example an OpenGL project that converts to the virtual modelling language (VRML) and thereby opens up the possibility for web usage. The converter is restricted to converting OpenGL files that are written in the programming language C.
