Abstract [en]
Corporate identity has attracted growing interest during the last 25 years and companies started to put more consideration to managing their corporate identity. Each organization has corporate identity and each organization expresses it in some way. The purpose of this dissertation is to gain a better understanding of what the term of corporate identity means and how a company communicates its corporate identity. In order to answer this question theory from authors and practitioners was used and research was conducted in the form of an interview and questionnaire in an industrial company - Heléns Rör a leading tube producer in Scandinavia. The authors presented how the company expresses and perceives its identity showing at the same that corporate identity is important for a number of reasons.
