Abstract [sv]
This application has been developed in cooperation with the PPP-group, that researches to improve the quality for paper print. The purpose of this application is to simulate one of the measuring tools, Malcolm, that has been developed and constantly used during their research. With Malcolm is it possible to measure print quality. It gives a swift and reliable measure of the printing quality but also how it can be improved. Our application simulates three of Malcolm’s measuring possibilities, which are: Graybar measuring Register measuring Zoom The application is developed, to make it possible to measure on three different digital paper pages. There is also a possibility to filter any color that the print consists of. The result shows that the application manages to simulate the Malcolm tool well. Moreover the application is made to facilitate adding new measuring possibilities that one wants to simulate.
