Abstract [sv]
In this project a Framework based on how to write drivers for a real-time microkernel has been developed. The real-time microkernel that we use is developed at Halmstad University and is used in a course called Computer Systems Engineering. A memory protection scheme is implemented on the real-time system, which is the result of an old project that was made two years ago. The system limits itself to work on a development kit called EDB7312 that has been made by Cirrus Logic. The development kit has a ARM720T processor. With a microkernel we mean the basics in a operatingsystem, with functions such as schematics and message handling between processes. The framework that has been developed can be used as a pattern when a user wants to make new drivers for the system.
