Abstract [sv]
Project Glasögonlarm 2004 is a project that has been carried out in cooperation with Synsam Service AB. The task was to investigate if there was a possibility to develop a new kind of safety system for eyewear. The safety system that exists on the market today for eyewear is not good enough, they are big and clumsy and don’t meet the requirements of the optician market. The project has resulted in a solution that both Synsam and the project group are satisfied with. The alarm is placed on the rear end of the glasses and don’t disturb the impression of the glasses for the customer when he or she tries them on in the store. The alarm technology is supplied by 3M Sweden. They are experts in electromagnetic alarm technology witch is the most suitable technology for this product.
