Abstract [sv]

The Final Thesis Project with Development of a New Product, Costless, has been made in cooperation with Hedin Lagan AB. This company develops custom made equipment for sheet metal manufacturing companies. Smaller- and middle-sized companies within this business suffer from large losses in time and unused space, because of inefficient logistic systems. The idea is to offer the target group a complete sheet metal storage system, in order to increase the logistic efficiency of sheet metal in their workshops. The solution derives from a semi automatic storage system, where the developing process has been made from a user’s focus. The result of the project also contains an economic point of view, where investment calculations show on short payoff times. This can be used for marketing purpose by Hedin Lagan AB.
