Abstract [sv]
Today innovations often are made in industrial networks, which is called innovation systems. To get an efficient innovation system it is important with good co-operation between the three actors; industry, university and the governmental system. This type of co-operation is called Triple Helix. Since there are different types of actors, it is interesting to study if they have different needs of the co-operation. This study show that all actors have a need for an increased competitive advantage that can lead to economical benefits in the future. The actors can establish this in different ways. For example the large companies have a strategic long-term horizon, while the small companies have a short-term operative perspective. The universities need contacts with the industry and the governmental system has a regional growth as a target for the Triple Helix co-operation.
