Abstract [en]
The novel Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë has been the object of my study in this essay. I focus on the Gothic features of Jane Eyre. I investigate a number of Gothic elements in the novel and analyse what these descriptions tell us about women's conditions in Victorian England.
