Abstract [sv]

The purpose of this project is to develop a prototype of a system that is used for the maintenance and supervising of future vending machines. Problems that can occur with the wending machines of today are that service routines are based upon previous sales reports and statistics, which in many cases are not reliable. To make these routines more efficient one would need statistics that are up to date and of course, reliable. The prototype developed during this project can be used to supervise and report the actual figures from each machine, leading to more reliable sales information and statistics. The project has been carried out in association with Coca-Cola Drycker Sverige AB, Haninge/Jordbro, Sweden. The final version of the system will be handed over to the associate at the end of the degree project.
