Abstract [sv]

This thesis will describe a project performed for Kronans Cykel AB, in the spring of 2003. The assignment was to develop a system that can handle cashbox functions, storage, customers and suppliers for the commissioner’s smaller shops. Essentially there is a database that’s keeps track of all the data and a graphical interface that combines the user to the system. The database has been developed in MS-SQL server7 that is powerful and stable. It contains 27 tables which have been modifying and growing step by step. The user interface is made in Visual Basic 6.0 and is supposed to be easy for the one’s who have loots of experience of computers, as for those who haven’t. The final system isn’t perfect but it is a fine base for further development.
