Abstract [en]

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to program and solve some problems for a PDA application that is used for configuration of a price display using Bluetooth communication. Malte Persson & Son AB develops the price display in a collaboration project with Free2Move. The price display is made for displaying the fuel price usually placed on the station signs. The major advantages with using the Bluetooth communication technology are that the installation becomes much cheaper. You don’t need too hire an excavator and dig up the asphalt then put the cable and asphalt again. The price display has a good, clear displaying from a long distance. It will also be easy to set the price from a remote control in our case the PDA.
