Abstract [sv]
Vibrations in machine devices and technical equipment are a problem that is not solved completely. This report presents active and passive damping of vibrations of aluminum beam and short theory about vibration is also covered. In addition, the report describes methods of construction, testing and verification. Universal equipment was constructed and verified, that consist of two pairs piezoelectric actuator and four-strain gauge mounted on an aluminum beam. The piezoelectric devices are used to control vibrations. The project also has two amplifiers INA 110 which improve the signal from strain gauge and E-663 communicates whit the piezoelectric element and Wincon. Communication between the computer and equipment execute via real time system Wincon.
