Abstract [sv]
The purpose of this dissertation project was to determine how well developed the processes at Lindab Profile AB are. The judgement was made upon evaluations according to two different models and it resulted in a number of suggestions for improvement. The project was limited to concern a certain number of processes that were considered critical. The processes were production development, product liquidation, management, order, product development, personnel and planning. By using two different models (Harrington’s model for process evaluation and the SIQ matrix) it was established how well developed the processes at Lindab are. The advantage of using these two models in particular was the fact that they complement each other well, because they have different focus. The judgement resulted in the conclusion that the processes at Lindab are charted but that the process work otherwise is quite new. Because of this the work with continuous improvements isn't highly developed.
