Abstract [sv]

This dissertation describes the development process and procedure in designing a new product. This project is made in collaboration with the company Götessons Industri AB. The task is to design and develop a backpack special made for laptops. The front of the bag should be able to use as a work place. It is a constitution of two already existing products, MakeItSoft and a computer bag. MakeItSoft is made of durable material in combination with a pillow, for comfort when lying down on the lap. MakeItSoft is not portable. Ola Götesson has patent on MakeItSoft in a combination with a bag. Our goal is to find a new and practical form, suitable for a younger and a more active target group.
