Abstract [sv]
Our assignment was to develope a pick and place unit for the food packaging industry. The assigner was Sprinter System AB in Halmstad. The requirements were that the unit could work in an area of 150 x 300mm and make 40 picks per minute. The machine should be able to carry a load of 2kg (1kg tool and 1kg product). The overall cost, including work costs, should not be more than 200.000 SEK. All the requirements were fulfilled and a working prototype were build.
