Abstract [sv]

Abstract During the last four study periods we have developed a helping tool for the butchery industry. The final project that we have been doing consists of 16 university points. The company that we have been working with is named Ugglarps Slakteri AB, which is placed in Malmö. The problem at the company today is that the staff working with sausage filling is constantly doing heavy lifting and the work is also monotonous. The lifting is done when the sausages have been filled and are to be moved from the filling table to the carriages where they hang the sausages when they smoke them. These lifts are today done completely by hand. The result of our work has been a ergonomic formed tool that can handle several sausage bars at the time. The tool is loaded with the amount of bars and sausages that is to be placed on the carriage. The tool is then transported from the filling table to the carriage by the help of a lifting equipment called "Quick Lift". This lifting equipment is hanging from the ceiling and it is very easy for the user to manoeuvre it into the right position on the carriage.
