Abstract [en]
As the interest for home interior design increases there is a need of new innovative interior products. The project’s aim is to develop a new fixing device for wall coverings in private and public environments. The interior products on the market are insufficient and do not fulfil the customer demands. Customers find it complicated, but most of all time consuming to use existing wall-covering systems. These thoughts occur through all the “extra” items needed to do wall changes, like for example tools accessories and knowledge. The LICA system is a new innovative wall-covering, which is user-friendly with emphasis on interchangeability, function, and design. The simplicity to assemble the system widens the market and reduces the requirement of knowledge. Depending on which boards that are chosen from a board portfolio, it is possible to adjust the price to the customer’s own wallet. The customers’ wish to be creative and innovative in their own home is satisfied thanks to the possibility of changing the appearance of the wall.
